Confession: I got on the scale today. Stupid idea. I KNOW I'm probably not going to lose during the Whole30 and getting on the scale only screws with my head. The whole point of doing the Whole30 is to help me be more mindful of what I'm eating and break some of my bad behaviors. And the thing is, I didn't even get on the scale at a reasonable time....I got on mid-day, clothed, having just had a bunch of water. Seriously? Yeah, I expected what by doing that? Anyway, I obviously have an issue with the scale and that stupid number.
Overall: I feel really good today. The Grump-ies from yesterday are gone. I got a good night's sleep and had a very productive day. Tomorrow will be interesting as I am chaperoning my daughter's field trip. It's only a few hours, so it shouldn't be a big deal. I'm planning on doing an "IF" day so that I don't have to mess with planning for food. I should be home by lunch time, so basically I'm skipping breakfast. We'll see how I feel in the morning. If I'm hungry first thing, I'll eat. I'm not generally very hungry first thing in the morning anyway. Before I chaperone though I have to stop at the "Thank You" breakfast thing for the Room Parents at the school. I don't anticipate anything being Whole30 approved so I'll probably abstain from anything unless they have fruit. I'm glad I don't have any desire to eat donuts or anything of the like... That's a big step for me!

Yummy food, so many veggies!
The scale is definitely addictive. I put mine away for that reason. Right now I feel like I've ruined my weight loss with cheats, but I'm hoping that some of the bloat will go down in the next 12 days!
GIRL! You weren't supposed to do that!
Amber- I put the scale in the garage, on top of something, just to keep myself from getting on it. Durrr :( you'll finish April strong. Lock it down...
Kristen- I KNOW! I KNOW! I feel ridiculous for doing it.
