Unmotivated

It's like a switch flipped the last few days. I just stopped caring about what I'm eating. It's horrible! I don't know what happened, but I feel like I've lost my drive. I'm not quite sure how to click it back into place either. I need something to push me. Something concrete. In the past few months it's been getting into a pair of pants or hitting a number on the scale that motivated me. But right now, the number on the scale isn't doing it for me. In fact, it seems to be having the opposite effect. And now all my clothes fit so it's kinda like "What's the point in losing more?".
I haven't figured out the solution, but I have an idea. Today, I'm going on a mission. I'm going to go on a search for a motivational outfit. Something in a size 8. That's a good goal, don't you think? Thrift stores here I come....

Honestly I think we all go through that every once and a while. Just remind yourself of all you hard work and all the good things that healthy food and exercise does for you thats not related to your scale (more energy, positive mood, better skin and hair) and maybe that will be a push. Oh and I think that the target outfit is a great idea too!! You can do it girl!!

SO many bloggers are going through this right now.....almost every blog I have read today. My theory is vitamin D. I just did a post about it. Hang in there!

Could it be that the new program is harder to do so it is not that motivating when it isn't that fun? Cheer up, you are doing great and so close. You also have to remember that you are getting close to the point where you are going to have to think about maintaining. I wanna see the new outfit. :)

You might also BE at your healthy weight. I do not know how tall you are..but 155 is sounding pretty good!

Maybe set some different goals...some strength or fitness goals. I'd love to do some real pushups and that has led me on an odyssey of chiropractic care (had some underlying issues!) and weight training which has been interesting. My arms look pretty amazing to me right now...I can actually SEE some muscles in there under the rest of the chub...that has been motivating to me. I want Michelle Obama arms. :)
