The Plan...

So I think I have a game plan....finally. The whole exercising and being fit during pregnancy is uncharted territory for me since I gained 70 lbs the first time and 50 lbs the second. I've been struggling to find my happy place, figure out an exercise plan, and generally figure out how I am going to cope with 3 kids. Momma's going a bit nuts. JUST A LITTLE.
So, here's what I've decided is going to be the general plan for the exercise. Walking 30-35 miles a week [5 mi/day, 6 days a week] and 100 pushups and squats [5 sets of 20] 3x/week. While I really want to run still, it REAALLY bothers my husband. While I understand his concern, it's a little frustrating to have the same conversation over and over. So, I'll walk. And walk. And walk.
Anyway, just wanted to give an update. Here's to a good week.

Sounds like a good plan! I wish I had done that during my pregnancies! But...I'm looking forward now, not back! :) I highly recommend a pregnancy yoga class, too. I did one when pregnant with son #4 and it was great. Relaxing, good but gently stretches that help with labor...etc.

That is really too bad about the hubby... running is a great and safe exercise when pregnant if you were already doing it before... which you of course were. :-)

Hope to see you pick up the racing again after the baby. You were starting to get really fast!

Best wishes for a smooth pregnancy and I hope you are feeling well. Any morning sickness? Tiredness. Pregnancy is difficult and with 2 little ones already I'm sure you've got some exhausting days ahead. Post soon and let us know how you are doing :)

Maybe you can get an written note from dr. to give to D about running. But it sounds like great game plan.
